I feel a bit like an ass cause he did send me an email on rentboy email an hour or so after the table tennis style texting (i hate making the word text plural) apologizing for it not working out today and that he would like to hire me (which may change if/when he see's my blog)
But i dont regret it because it wasnt so much towards him directly as it was me venting having to deal with this style stuff all the time and this just happened to be the most recent example to set me off.

Love this post and love knowing more about the "service industry". It's something I often think about getting into my self as I have had some offers as of late. How much do you charge and how much would you suggested someone with out prom experience should charge?

Well it reallly depends on what you think you can get away with. I would look on rentboy.com and rentmen.com in your city and see what the average price is for the escorts in your town. Prices have decreased over the past few years due to the economy and these kids throwing themselves up on the sites and asking a meer 100-150 an hour. Thats just doing the rest of us an injustice, cause now i have guys try to hangle prices with me. In not a used car lot, my listed price is what i ask for, and i typically go for about 280 n hr and around 1,000 for an overnight and that can go up or down depending on the type of stuff they would like to do on the overnight, like if they plan to party or get into intense fetish scenes or what have you. And a word to the wise if any possible Johns are reading this .... just remember, you get what you pay for. Im a "trained" professional, so if you wanna say "but this other escort will do it for 100" well there is probably a reason his prices are much lower... just keep that in mind please.
And myself personally, i love doing the porn shoots, i always have fun when doing the videos, but i cant wait to not HAVE to escort anymore. It is a bitch being on call all the time and dealing with the shit that deal with is definitely not worth it.
And yes, porn guys can tend to charge more because the porn is basically a video resume that shows what your getting. Porn is like the marketing for your escorting business.
